Ok, as you know I rarely pay over $5.00 for a single title. But with that being said, paying so little for a Disney release isn't always the easiest thing to do. So $10 off isn't that bad of a deal. Currently at Toys R Us there is another great preorder deal going on where if you pay $1.00 to preorder Frozen or The Pirate Fairy you will receive $10.00 off a purchase of a $19.99+ Disney title. Not too shabby! Especially since there is NO obligation to ever pickup/pay for your preorder.
*This may be YMMV as not every TRU always carries the preorder cards.
is the pre-order deposit non-refundable? If so then you are technically only getting $9 off of a $20 movie. Most(all?) Disney movies wind up under $10 if you are patient enough, look at the current FYE deal or recent deals at Big Lots and Five Below for example.
ReplyDeleteOn the other hand, if it's truly good for anything from Disney's distributor, i.e. Marvel titles, $11 for the Blu-ray that never seem to drop below $15 isn't too bad. It would be hugely YMMV though and still more than I'm willing to pay for any movie these days.
